The Venue Guide
"Seabrook Island Club can make your dream wedding a reality. Natural beauty and Lowcountry charm will surround you and your guests as you enjoy the wedding experience of a lifetime!"
One of the main reasons I love this venue is because it is so unique compared to other Charleston venues. You have a full view of the ocean with nothing blocking it! Don't get me wrong, I love Downtown Charleston, but sometimes it's nice to look at the ocean without cruise ships or bridges in the background.
Another great thing about this wedding venue is that you get plenty of options for ceremony setups, picture locations, and getting ready locations. You can rent a small airbnb right down the road to stay to take the stress off of you!
THE PERFECT VENUE
It's the day of your wedding and you can hear the ocean waves crashing in the distance with the salty breeze running through your hair...
One of the location options for your ceremony is overlooking the ocean. This is a beautiful spot! And if there's the possibility of rain, there's always the backup to go inside and have a beautiful ceremony in one of their ballrooms!
The ballroom is where all the dancing happens! There's plenty of room to setup a dance floor, lights, a full bar, and all of your dining seating. In addition, there's a little room right outside of the ballroom where you could potentially have you bar instead of inside. There's also doors surrounding the ballroom that lead out to the porch where you can hear the ocean waves crashing in the distance!
I actually don't recommend that either of you get ready at the venue! The bridal suite is a little small and doesn't have much natural light, so it would be better for y'all to get ready in a more comfortable setting! Luckily there are lots of airbnbs right in the neighborhood for you to rent out for the weekeend!
I definitely recommend outside! There are two places that I love to take family portraits. One is right in front of the venue with the stairs, that way it's easy for family members to stack behind without being lost in the pictures. Or there's a nice field right out front with beautiful bushes and flowers!
This all depends on if you are having a first look or not! If you have a first look, we are able to get lots of photos done beforehand, so you can have a later ceremony. But if you don't have a first look you definitely want to have plenty of time to take photos after the ceremony! So I always say if you have a first look, two hours before sunset. And no first look, 3 hours before sunset.
There's a giant parking lot right beside the venue and it's free to park! Definitely a stress free day for your guests!
