Like many other Southern wedding venues, Legare Waring House is completely surrounded by tall oaks with Spanish moss. It's stunning and gives you the opportunity to have very unique and fun things at your wedding. Like string lights or lanterns hanging from the trees!
In addition to the outside area, you also get the house for your big day! There's plenty of room for your bridal party and family to put their belongings. And a kitchen for snacks if needed! Everything you need is right there! It makes for a relaxing and unforgettable wedding day.

Avenue of Oaks
One of the location options for your ceremony is the Avenue of Oaks. It's a beautiful little alley walking distance from the house. Here you can set up your ceremony however you want with the trees creating a canopy for you to hang out under!

Yes! There is so much space here for the full wedding party to get ready! The girls can have the upstairs and the guys can have the downstairs! Once it's time for the girls to take their pictures, the guys can hide away in one of the many rooms and hang out there without ever seeing the girls! It's perfect!
A FEW OF the MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SHOOTING WEDDINGS AT legare waring house
Is there a curfew or a time we need to leave the venue by?
Yes there is a time you will need to be out of the park by. Your wedding has to be over by 11pm, but that still gives a lot of time for fun and dancing!
What time should we schedule our ceremony to begin?
This all depends on if you are having a first look or not! If you have a first look, we are able to get lots of photos done beforehand, so you can have a later ceremony. But if you don't have a first look you definitely want to have plenty of time to take photos after the ceremony! So I always say if you have a first look, two hours before sunset. And no first look, 3 hours before sunset.
Will we be able to do a sparkler exit at this venue?
Unfortunately Legare Waring House does not allow sparkler exits, but there are plenty of other options out there! I encourage you to look through Pinterest, you will be amazed at what you find!
